Cool video, I'm ashamed to admit I've probably only played about ten at most. Pleased to see that Drone made it on the video. Definitely going to check out Super Vampire Ninja Zero, I've wanted to make a game with that sort of look for ages.

A common aesthetic I have noticed among most of the featured games featured is an excessive number of particles, just curious to see what opinions are on that particular style.

I like these videos, I always find them inspiring.

And @earok - Yes I like lots of particles. It's probably the main distinction between a retro game and a neo-retro game.

Ive played 20 of these games, but still feel inadequate knowing there are 225 other indie games I havent played or didn't know about!

Great to see Drone there. Represent.

Yes, particles seem to be the "lens flare" of the '00s ;) Way to go, Drone!

Thanks! Yeah PixelProspector is pretty awesome. The guy that runs it is a hell of a nice guy.

37! (do I get a prize?)

A very inspiring video. While I watched, I furiously scribbled down names of the games that looked particularly intriguing. I can imagine watching it a few more times to pick out some more once I've played those ones.

Yes Matt you do get a prize!

You get 198 other indie games to play!  Well done.

Let me know when you hit 100.
